Love Affair of Vera de Bosset and Igor Stravinsky

In February 1921, Mrs Vera de Bosset Sudeikins and her husband, Serge Sudeikin, met for dinner in a Montmartre restaurant in Paris with Sergei Diaghilev, founder of the Ballets Russes. During the evening, Vera de Bosset used a deck of cards to read the fortune of another guest, Igor Stravinsky. I'm not sure what she saw, but soon afterwards the two began an affair. After almost twenty years being the other woman, Vera de Bosset married Igor Stravinsky at the home of Dr Taracuzio, a fellow Russian and Harvard Professor, in Bedford, Massachusetts. - AsNotedIn
