Society people of Boston Brookllne Cambridge and other places especially Washington and New York were present at the wedding of Miss Mary Sargent and Dr Nathaniel Bowditch Potter at St Stephens Episcopal Church today. Bishop Lawrence performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Prof and Mrs Charles S Sargent of Holm Lea Brookllne. The bridegroom is a graduate of Harvard University class of 1890 and also a graduate of the Harvard Medical School. At the present time, he is an Instructor at Columbia University New York. The bridegroom was attended by Mason Barnes formerly of New York but recently of Paris. The bride who was unattended wore rich white velvet the bodice being trimmed with rare old family lace, a collar of pearls and diamonds was her only ornament. She carried no flowers but there was a small cluster of gardenias it the bodice. After the ceremony many of the guests went by automobile to the line Sargent estate where a wedding breakfast was served followed by a small reception.
