Puits de Moise or Well of Moses is a 14th century sculpture by Dutch artists, Claus Sluter and his nephew Claus de Werve. They create the Well of Moses as the base of a Calvary Scene (Crucifixion of Christ) commissioned by Philip the Bold. The Calvary base was constructed at the Chartreuse Champmol (monastery of the Holy Trinity Champmol), now the Hospital de la Chartreuse, Dijon, Burgundy, France.- AsNotedIn
