Jamesway Farm Equipment

  • Historically Known As: Jamesway Manufacturing Co
  • Canadian

Jamesway Farm Equipment is a farm equipment manufacture located in St Francois-Xavier, Quebec. It all began in 1906 when William D James, in a blacksmith shop on a dairy farm in Wales Wisconsin, built a better cow stall. James improved the standard adjustable cow stall and barn sanitation with a rotating stanchion that allowed the cow to efficiently use the stall's manure gutter. James and his new product join the Kent Manufacturing in Fort Atkinson, increasing their sales by 30 percent annually. In 1912 the company became the James Manufacturing Company, a leader in creating innovative farm equipment and a provider of best methods for raising livestock. The 1900s Jamesway Books provided farmers with complete information on building and maintaining a modern, sanitary dairy barn. In 2007, Jamesway Farm Equipment opened a distribution center in Tomah, Wisconsin, just over a 2 hour drive from Wales. - AsNotedIn
