The rugged and rocky Chiswell Islands rise from the Gulf of Alaska at the mouth of Resurrection Bay, 20 miles from Seward on the Kenai Peninsula. They are the most visited seabird colonies of the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge. - USFWS
