1677/00/00 Peter Tufts, The Immigrant Architect Richard Russell of Charlestown sells land with "one dwelling house and barn" to Peter Tufts of Charlestown. Tufts will soon build a brick house.
1680/00/00 Capt Peter Tufts Home Peter Tufts sells a house to his son, Captain Peter Tufts.
1877/00/00 Samuel C Lawrence Father of the Bride Samuel Lawrence saves the Tufts house from demolition by buying it as a wedding gift for his daughter. The interior is remodeled at this time in the Colonial Revival style but, the support beams and parts of the staircase are preserved.
