1844/00/00 Mary Elizabeth Sawyer Tyler Founding Member Somerville First Unitarian Church is established (dissolved in 1975).
1875/00/00 Hartwell, Richardson and Driver Architect First Unitarian Church stone church is built in the Richardsonian Romanesque style between 1875 and 1899.
1881/09/14 Mary Elizabeth Sawyer Tyler Widow Columbus Tyler dies in 1881 and bequeaths his estate to the First Unitarian Church, effective upon Mary's death. She died in 1889, and her home was used as the church parsonage until it was sold in 1921.
