1790/00/00 Charles Carroll of Carrollton Benefactor Central-block section of Brooklandwood is built c 1790 by Charles Carroll of Carrollton for his daughter, Mary Canton.
1815/08/15 John MacTavish Groom John MacTavish, heir to the North West Company and British Consul to Maryland, marries Emily Caton, daughter of Richard and Mary Caton, and granddaughter of Charles Carroll. They lived first at Brooklandwood estate where Emily had been born.
1849/00/00 Saint Paul's School is established in 1849.
