1682/00/00 William Penn grants 986 acres of land to Valentine Hollingsworth, who renams it New Wark.
1726/00/00 George Robinson, Hollingsworth's son-in-law, buys 250 acres of the New Wark estate and name it Pizgah (Pisgah).
1750/00/00 A farmhouse of gray-black Brandywine gabbro and fieldstone (north section of present building), 28 ft x 30 ft, is built with 18-inch walls for George Robinson. The building has 2 downstairs rooms and a hallway, 3 upstairs rooms, an attic and a basement.
1785/00/00 Gunning Bedford Jr Owner Gunning Bedford signs an agreement to buy Lombardy Hall and 250 acres from William Robison. Although Robison died before the sale was completed, his widow, Hannah will transfer the property to Bedford in 1786 for 4 pounds and 1 dollar per acre.
1793/00/00 Gunning Bedford Jr Home Moving from downtown Wilmington to Lombardy Hall, Bedford adds an 18 foot x 30 foot addition on the south end of the house with one large downstairs room, "The Ballroom," and two upstairs rooms.
1889/00/00 The last 20 acres of Lombardy Estate are transformed into a cemetery. The caretaker occupies Lombardy Hall as his home and for some years one room served as a morgue.
1967/09/21 Granite Lodge No 34 in Talleyville buys Lombardy Hall. The Lombardy Hall Foundation will be established in 1968 to preserve the home of a Delaware patriot and a Freemason first Grand Master.
