1933/00/00 Grant Wood Stone City Art Colony Everett Jeffery and other artist from the Stone City paint a mural depicting a lynching (1st St and 2nd Ave courtroom). In 1960, Judge McManus had it painted over with paint that is designed to come off the wall and not damage the murals underneath.
