1918/00/00 Louis P Wolff Architect Design by St Paul Engineer L P Wolff, construction begins a concrete water tower, believed the first of its kind in the US for municipal water storage use.
1921/00/00 Loweth and Wolff Engineer Brainerd Water Tower is completed for the Water and Light Commission.
1928/00/00 An 8 ply membrane liner is installed in the interior of the tank to stop major leaks through construction and cold joints. This is protected by a 4" course of hard brick from the floor of the tank to within 6" of the roof line.
1958/00/00 The Brainerd Water Tower was used continuously by the Water and Light Commission until new and larger facilities are constructed in 1958.
