1905/00/00 American Bridge Company Engineer The Lamb-Fish Bridge is built by the American Bridge Co of New York. It is significant in the history of engineering in Mississippi as the only known example of a verticle lift span bridge.
1950/00/00 In 1932, a fire swept through Lamb-Fish Lumber Company plant. The railroad and bridge were abandoned. In the 1950s, the span was lowered, railroad ties were removed, and the structure was converted to a one-lane car and truck bridge.
