1898/00/00 Thomas F Lloyd Owner The Alberta Cotton Mill is erected for Thomas F Lloyd.
1909/03/00 Julian S Carr Owner Julian Carr family buy the cotton mill from Lloyd in 1909 and donated electricity and streets to the community. The mill became part of the Blanche Hosiery Corporation, and then the Durham Hosiery Mills.
1913/00/00 By 1913, the Alberta Cotton Mill becomes one of the world's largest hardwood cross-tie makers.
