1835/00/00 Peck,Thomas and Norton,Stephen Architect The Valley Queen Mill is built of granite ashlar by Providence masons Stephen Norton and Thomas Peck in 1834-1835 for the Greene Manufacturing Co, a manufacture of cotton textiles. This part is incorporated in the western end of the structure seen today.

1889/00/00 David M Thompson Architect Directed by mill engineer D M Thompson, alterations and enlargement of the Valley Queen Mill are completed. The stair tower is an example of Thompson's work.
