1747/00/00 Abraham Redwood Benefactor The Company of the Redwood Library is founded by Abraham Redwood and 45 colonists. Redwood donates 500 pounds silver for the purchase 751 used books from London. Volumes include how to build a latrine, cidermaking and bee keeping.
