1858/00/00 John Udell travels the Beale Wagon Road in the interval between Beale's trips and records in his diary a stop at Laws Spring.

1877/00/00 John Bushman and Ida Hunt, Congressman Morris Udall's grandmother, mention stopping at Laws Spring. Mormon groups moving south out of Utah joined the Beale Road at Hackberry, Arizona, then followed it to settlements along the Little Colorado River.
