1895/00/00 Nikola Tesla Home, Work Tesla erects receivers on the roof of the Gerlach, where he lives, c 30 blocks from transmission equipment on the roof of his lab at 33-35 S 5th Ave (lost). With Diaz Buitrago at the transmitter, Tesla proves his receivers can pickup electrical energy.
