1878/08/00 William Merritt Chase Work William M Chase teaches at the Art Students League from 1878 to 1896.
1889/00/00 Howard Russell Butler Founder American Fine Arts Society is incorporated by several societies including the Society of American Artists, the Architectural League and the Art Students League with the objective to provide facilities for these societies in this one building.
