1892/00/00 McKay,G.H. Architect The Glen Canyon Covered Bridge is erected by contractor G H McKay "the northern gateway of Santa Cruz" to allow increased settlement of this part of Santa Cruz County.
1939/05/13 Due to a realignment of Glen Canyon Rd, the bridge is condemned on 13 May 1939. Mr Burns-Park, Santa Cruz High School teacher Robert Burton and Rose Rostron, the first female County Supervisor, lead a campaign to move the bridge to Delaveaga Park.
1984/00/00 Glen Canyon bridge is destroyed by a storm and "taken down" some time after 1984.
