1855/00/00 Adolph Strauch Landscape Architect Adolph Strauch is hired to beautify the grounds of Spring Grove Cemetery. He will create a garden cemetery of lakes, trees and shrubs.
1883/00/00 William Salway Architect After much persuasion, Spring Grove President Henry Probasco hires the gentleman from Devon, England. During Salway's 43 years as Superintendent, he will lay out more sections in a style harmonious with Strauch's landscape lawn plan.

1886/00/00 Samuel Hannaford Architect A large brick Queen Anne-style house is built on the grounds of Spring Grove Cemetery for landscape architect William Salway as part of his compensation when he became superintendent. Designed by Samuel Hannaford, it was razed in 1984.
