1888/00/00 Iceland brothers open a small deli on Ludlow Street in New York's Lower East Side.
1903/00/00 Upon the arrival of Willy Katz, the name of the store was officially changed to "Iceland Katz".
1910/00/00 Willy's cousin Benny joins him in 1910, buying out the Iceland brothers to officially form Katz's Delicatessen.
1917/04/00 Harry Tarowsky buys into the partnership in April 1917. Katz's Deli is moved across the street, to its present location, during the construction of the subway system.
