Exceptionally fine interiors from RMS MAURETANIA were installed in the Mauretania Public House in Bristol. Scrapped in 1934, the fittings from the luxurious transatlantic liner include, on the ground floor, the Billiard Room, with magnificent paneling and plasterwork and the RMS MAURETANIA logo. First floor retains the first-class Grand Saloon with French-style gilding. The neon sign on the south wall advertising the Mauretania was installed in 1938. - AsNotedIn
