Great for Jam and Pies

An import from England to California, Blenheim apricots are notable for a tangy, sweet flavor. Since they do not store or travel well, they became the preference in California to be dried. Modern dried apricots usually come from Turkey. Fresh Blenheim apricots can be found at central California farmers markets. One of the characteristics of the Blenheim is they do not appear to fully ripen, but under their the green tinged skin the deep orange flesh yields a rich flavor. - AsNotedIn
