1926/00/00 Kallet Theaters Inc, owned by brothers Myron J and JS Kallet of Syracuse, make an alliance with ME Commerford Amusement Co of Scranton, PA, gaining the booking facilities of the Commerford company and its subsidiary, Amalgamated-Vaudeville. Architect
1928/12/10 Kallet-Comerford buy the property at 216-224 W Dominick St in 1927 and, in February and March of 1928, the site is cleared and construction begins on the new Capitol Theatre, a 2,000-seat Art Deco style Spanish-Moroccan themed venue. Developers Capitol Theater Rome
1937/06/00 Built in 1916, 'The Playhouse' in Ticonderoga, NY, is remodeled, including air conditioning, and opens as the 'State Theater' with a marquee that features 800 incandescent bulbs and "countless yards of neon tubing". The State Theatre collapsed in 1994. Architect
