Thomas Faxon

Thomas Faxon was of rather large stature, very dignified, sociable, affable and a man that would command respect anywhere, a Christian. He was a farmer and shoe-maker. He lived at Conway, Mass, until about 1802 or 1803, when he removed to Whitestown, Oneida county, NY; and from there about 1822 to York, Livingston county, NY, where he resided until his death. - The History of the Faxon Family by George Faxon
