Valkommen to Lindsborg, KS

Lindsborg is a small American city in central Kansas notable for its Swedish heritage. The McPherson County town biennially host the Svensk Hyllningsfest which celebrates Swedish culture with dance, foods including lutfisk and a smorgasbord, arts and crafts, traditional Swedish folk music and a parade. Much of the food is made from recipes handed down from the early Swedish settlers of the Smoky Valley area.

One of the 8 Wonders of Kansas Customs, Dala Horses (or Dalecarlian, a traditional carved, painted wooden statue of a horse) are located on the sidewalks of Lindsborg. The Wild Dalas of Lindsborg Official Guide is available at the Lindsborg Convention and Visitors Bureau at 104 E Lincoln St or at the Certified Travel Information Center at 118 N Main Street. - AsNotedIn
