Ponce de Leon Springs State Park is a Florida Stated park named after Juan Ponce de Leon, the Spanish explorer who led an expedition to Florida in 1513 where legends claim he was search for the fountain of youth. The park protects Ponce de Leon Springs, the water temperature is a constant 68 degrees Fahrenheit year-round, and offers two self-guided nature trails through a hardwood forest, seasonal guided walks, picnicking at pavilions.
