Designed by Alfred Waterhouse, his only known surviving town house, 38 Sheffield Terrace W8 is a Grade II English Listed Building in London, England.

Number 58 Sheffield Terrace was the home of mystery writer Agatha Christie and her second husband, archaeologist Max Mallowan. Said to be the only home where Christie had her own workroom. She insisted the room contain: a grand piano; large, firm table; a comfortable sofa or divan; a hard upright chair for typing; and one armchair to recline in, and there was to be nothing else. - AsNotedIn
