1878/00/00 Jacob Wirth, who emigrate from Kreuznach near Bingen, Germany in the 1830s, opens his restaurant on 60 Eliot St in 1868. In 1878 he moved to the current location on 31-33 Elliot St (now Stuart St).
2018/06/00 Jacob Wirth closes after a fire.
