1692/00/00 King and Queen Parish is established in the upper part of St Mary's County.
1710/00/00 Anne, Queen of Great Britain Faith Queen Anne donates a bible, Book of Common Prayer, organ and baptismal font to Christ Church. All are lost except the marble font, a bowl on a fluted pedestal, which is patterned after designs by James Gibbs and Batty Langley.

1764/08/20 Phillip Key Esq Died Phillip Key dies at his estate, Bushwood Lodge, in Chaptico, St Mary's County, Province of Maryland. He is buried in the Key Family Vault, located behind the church at Christ Church Cemetery, Chaptico.
1814/07/30 British Marines desecrate and vandalize Christ Church, breaking the white tile floor, destroying the organ and stabling their horses in the building. The Marines also open the key family vault and other graves, searching for jewelry or treasure. War of 1812
1815/00/00 Dr James Thomas of Deep Falls serves as a member of the vestry at Christ Church. Restoration of the building includes installing a wooden floor over the damaged tile floor.
