1855/00/00 Cherry Knoll is presumably built for an unkown member of the Flournoy family. John James Flournoy emigrated from France to Virginia in 1720. John Flournoy's son Mathew, an attorney, moved to Woodford County, then part of Scott, some time prior to 1792.
1861/00/00 John T Nutter Home Shortly after 1861, the year of the birth of his 2nd child, John Nutter and family move to Cherry Knoll. It was Nutter who probably had the brackets under the eaves added along with the overhanging cornices on the gable ends.
1894/04/21 John T Nutter Died John Thomas Nutter dies at age 64 in Scott County, Kentucky, United States.
