1852/00/00 Augustus Truesdell Builder, Home Augustus Truesdell, Rockville architect and superintendent of building, constructs his own home at 132 Prospect Street in the Italianate style.
1855/00/00 Augustus Truesdell Family Designed by his nephew, Albert S Truesdell, the Gothic Revival style Lewis Corbin House is built at 59 High Street. Albert Truesdell will later move to Putnam, Connecticut.
1902/00/00 Charles A Platt Architect Designed by Charles Adam Platt of New York City, the Francis T Maxwell House is built at 9 North Park Street.
1904/06/29 Charles A Platt Architect Rockville Public Library at 52 Union St is dedicated to George Maxwell. The total cost, with the lot and furnishings, $150,000, is a gift from Mr Maxwell's wife. The majority of the library's current operating budget continues to come from this source.
1905/00/00 Charles A Platt Architect Reflecting the prosperity of Rockville's woolen industry at the turn of the century are several buildings designed by Charles Platt of NYC. The William and Alice Maxwell House, "Kellogg Lawn", 1905, at 31 Union St (lost), exemplified Platt's work.
1907/00/00 Hartwell, Richardson and Driver Architect The Charles Phelps House is built at 1 Ellington Ave. Designed in the Georgian Revival style the house features a hip roof crowned by a wood balustrade and a symmetrical facade with a central portico.
