1890/00/00 Edward Clarke Cabot Architect Cabot remodels the main house. Keeping the late C18th entrance hall with its staircase and original paneling, he built a dining room running the entire width of the house and created a maze of bedrooms which resembles a small summer hotel of the period.
1896/00/00 Henry Wlliam Poor Home The barn is replaced by The New House, a baronial hunting lodge that features a Great Hall. Family legend holds that Stanford White designed the room as a special favor to Will (Henry William Poor), who paid for its construction.
