1797/00/00 William Peabody of Bridgton Home The Peabody-Fitch Farm is built for William Peabody and his wife Sally Stevens Peabody.
1803/09/03 Mary Peabody Fitch Born Sally Stevens Peabody, wife of William Peabody, gives birth to a daughter, Mary Peabody, in Bridgton, Maine.
1828/00/00 George Fitch Home Mary and George move back to Peabody farm. Fitch updates the house with late Federal style entrances with louvered fanlights and adds the ell with a new kitchen, larder, pantry and two bedrooms. A wing and carriage house are also built.
1840/00/00 Sgt Edwin Peabody Fitch Born Mary Peabody, wife of George Fitch, gives birth to Edwin Peabody Fitch. Edwin will grow up write "Ninety Years of Living about growing up at Narramissic during the 1840s and 1850s.
1891/09/19 Mary Peabody Fitch Died Mary Peabody Fitch dies at age 88 in Bridgton, Maine.
1938/00/00 Margaret M Monroe from Providence, RI, buys the Peabody-Fitch farmstead. She names it Narramissic and uses it as a summer home. Margaret Normann, Margaret Monroe's daughter, will write a memoir of her life in the house: Narramissic: 'Hard to Find'.
1986/00/00 Margaret M Monroe dies. Mrs Monroe leaves Narramissic to the Bridgton Historical Society.
