The Mikulich General Store is a 1923 general store and former post office building at the junction of County Roads 1 and 44 in Limestone Township, Traunik, Michigan. The store was built between 1922 and 1923 by local carpenter Indian Bill Coplin (Copeland) for William J Kehoe. Two years later, the small commercial building was bought by Louis Mikulich, who as postmaster, added the post office enclosure. In 1961, Louis' son, Louis Mikulich Jr took over the store and post office, operating it for the next 27 years. Louis Mikulich Jr was a locally known athlete and his brother, William, was captain of the tennis team at the University of Michigan. - AsNotedIn
