Built originally as a back wing to Stonehenge, but taken off and moved in 1953 by present owner, who had bought the Stonehenge property from the bank. He sold the main house and converted the former wing into a year-round family residence. First floor was constructed at same time as Stonehenge (c 1889), as is evident from early photographs, and was renovated and raised to 2-story height in 1904. Contractor was F W Stevens of Boston. Stonehenge, one of earliest summer cottages on east side of the town was part of farm and summer cottage complex built by Parsons family and owned by them until 1938. - NRHP, 20 March 1981
