1938/06/14 Carl W Scott Architect Carl Scott, a principal in the architectural firm of Scott and Welch, unveils a preliminary sketch of the new city hall that would cost about $115,000.
1938/08/00 Public Works Administration Financier The city of Midvale receives word that the PWA has approved their grant for $31,500. The Midvale City Hall is one of over 240 buildings constructed in Utah during the 1930s and early 1940s under New Deal programs.
1938/09/20 Continental National Bank and Trust Company of Salt Lake City Financier The Midvale city council approves a bond for $38,500 to fund the new city hall. Continental National Bank and Trust Company of Salt Lake City will sell the municipal bond at 2.5, a very low rate when compared to the 5.5 Midvale had paid for water bonds.
1938/12/00 Paul Paulsen and Company Contractor Paul Paulsen and Company of Salt Lake City begin constructing the new Midvale City Hall.
1939/07/04 Scott and Welch Architect Midvale City Hall is completed and dedicated. The final construction cost was approximately $53,000.
