1914/00/00 Woods Brothers Companies Architect Engineers of the Woods Brothers Construction Company design the Woods Bros Building to resemble the Morgan Guaranty Trust Company in New York City (York and Sawyer, 1911).
1916/00/00 The home office for the Woods Brothers Companies is completed. They have branch offices throughout the midwest and on both coasts, with 5000 employees. Between the office staff and the construction company, the firm is a major Lincoln employer.
1939/00/00 Woods Brothers Companies Limited Bankruptcy The Woods Brothers Companies move out. By the late 1930s the continuing depression, plus ten years of drought had broken the back of the company and are forced to liquidate their holdings, including the building, and take a limited bankruptcy.
