1788/00/00 | Col Doolittle acquires 500 acres, which is the largest land holdings in Shoreham. The land includes an arm of the Prickly Ash Brook and part of the Crown Point Road, which is an important road of transport across the state. | |||||
1788/00/00 | A grist mill is erected on Prickly Ash Brook about 30 yards downstream from the original saw mill. In the 1890's another saw mill will be erected on the foundations of the original saw mill. The limestone foundations of both mills remain. | |||||
