1935/05/01 Philadelphia Naval Shipwrights Architect Keel of the USCGC INGHAM, a 327-foot long riveted steel high-endurance cutter, is laid down at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
1935/06/03 Katharine Brush Dignitary The Campbell, Duane, INGHAM and Taney are launched and christened together, INGHAM is sponsored by Katherine Ingham Brush.
1936/11/06 US Coast Guard Architect INGHAM is completed and sent to the Pacific. From 1937 until 1940, Ingham is stationed at Port Angeles, Washington, operating out of Seattle and Port Angeles on the Bering Sea Patrol.
1941/12/07 INGHAM sails to Argentia, Newfoundland to begin first of 17 convoy escorts across the North Atlantic. Battle of the Atlantic
