1892/11/00 Designed by Albert Hansteen as an exposition building for the Columbian Expo, M Thams and Co of Drontheim, Norway, begin building the Norway Building. It was modeled after Norwegian stave churches built in Norway between the C10th and C12th.
1893/06/00 Albert Waldemar Hansteen Architect In May and June, the Norway Building is reassembled in Chicago. The building is used as an office by the Norwegian commissioner at the fair and as a meeting area for Norwegian citizens. Exhibits are limited to illustrations on the wall. World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago
1893/11/00 C K G Billings Owner Cornelius Kingsley Garrison Billings of Chicago buys the Norway Building and moves it to Lake Geneva where he has it reassembled on his summer estate. World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago
1910/00/00 William Wrigley Jr Owner William Mitchell sells his Lake Geneva estate, including the Norway Building, to William Wrigley, Jr.
