1911/00/00 Saline Valley Salt Co builds a 13.5 mile long tram, 1911 and 1912, to haul salt from Saline Valley to Owens Valley.
1929/00/00 In 1926, Sierra Salt Co begins producing salt, using trucks to carry salt to Keeler over the Saline Valley Road until the tramway was overhauled in 1929. Plant operations ended in 1930, and the company went bankrupt in 1935.
