- Vicinity: Roughly both sides of Logan and Conner Sts between 10th and 17th
The Conner Street Historic District is a residential district located along two major east/west streets in Noblesville. Comprising a wide range of styles, materials, shapes and sizes, it depicts both affluent and middle class families in Noblesville's history. The district contains a mix of styles including Gothic Revival, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Craftsman. The district also contains non-contributing ranch style homes constructed after the period of significance. Generally, the earliest houses are found along on the west end of the two streets with Logan Street having developed a few years earlier than Conner.
Most structures in the district were built as single family homes. There are a few non-residential structures including two churches and a high school gymnasium. While the majority of the homes remain single family, several have been converted to multiple family units and several are used as commercial structures.
Most houses have two or more stories and some type of front porch. Dormers are also a common feature. 1084 Logan is partially log, although the logs are not visible. Brick and wood are the predominant exterior materials. While aluminum and vinyl siding are also common, most of these structures retain their decorative woodwork and original form. A large number of contributing outbuildings are extant, including one privy. Conner Street has several large sections of brick sidewalks, while Logan is paved with brick pavers. - NRHP
