1857/00/00 Brooksville Advent Church is built during the Fall and Winter of 1856-1857 and dedicated in 1857.
1935/09/00 Sir Wilfred Grenfell Owner In the Fall, Sir and Lady Grenfell buy 17 acres of land along the New Haven River and begin building the Dog Team Tavern (lost) across the street from the church (lost).
1936/00/00 Sir Wilfred Grenfell Benefactor Although they do not own the church, the Grenfell pay for a new roof, foundation, repairing windows and exterior paint.
1936/06/18 Sir Wilfred Grenfell Owner The Hooksick Valley Advent Christian Conference votes to relinquish the Brooksville, Vermont church to the Grenfell Association.
1940/00/00 Until 1940, The Grenfells use the Brooksville Church (lost) as a gift shop selling Labrador handcrafts to support their missionary work.
1946/00/00 Using the GI bill, Eben and Catherine Joy buy the Dog Team Tavern and Brooksville Church property and open a restaurant (lost) serving hearty food, well known for sticky buns and spinning relish wheel.
2006/09/01 The Dog Team Tavern burns down after an apparent gas explosion. A total lose, owner Christopher Hesslink died inside the building where he had an apartment. His two dogs are found safe in his truck.
2013/00/00 Brooksville Advent Church is moved a few yards south and remodeled.
