1912/00/00 United States Lighthouse Service Architect Bureau of Lighthouses, 9th District, erects a square steel pyramidal tower on the North Pier (lost) in Frankfort, MI.
1925/00/00 In the 1920s, construction begins on two concrete breakwaters, north and south of the harbor entrance at Frankfort.
1932/00/00 The Frankfort lighthouse is removed from the north pier and installed on top of a new two story building at the end of the North Breakwater.
