1836/00/00 Trinity Episcopal congregation is organized in 1836.
1874/00/00 Third rector of Trinity, Rev Libertus Van Bokkelen, finds adequate space for the congregation by a planned merger with Christ Episcopal Church. Christ Episcopal was relatively new in Buffalo and had gone into financial trouble after building their chapel.
1884/07/14 Trinity and Christ Church are merged as Trinity Episcopal Church. Terms of the merger stated that Christ church contributes the chapel, Trinity would buy the adjacent lot and complete construction of a new church.
1885/00/00 John LaFarge Artisan John La Farge produces an ambitious program of opalescent glass and interior decoration for the new church executed between 1885 and 1886.
1886/00/00 Arthur D Gilman Architect Trinity Episcopal Church complex begins with the construction of the Gothic Revival-style Christ Chapel designed by Arthur D Gilman.
1887/00/00 Tiffany Studios Artisan Four windows are produced by La Farge along with five by Tiffany Studios and others by William Gibson, Hardman and Company and Mayer Studios of Munich, installed between 1887 and 1897.

1913/00/00 Colonel Charles Clifton Benefactor Funded by Charles Clifton, Bertram Goodhue finishes the interior of the 1869 chapel in a combination of Gothic medieval designs based on Anglo-Catholic traditions and the Arts and Crafts movement.
