High Bridge Trail is 31 mile (50km) long and generally flat bicycling, hiking and horseback riding trail. Midway along the finely crushed limestone former rail bed is the park's highlight, the 2,400 foot long (730m) High Bridge, originally built to carry Southside Railroad trains 125 feet (38m) over the Appomattox River. There are two parking lots near High BridgeEast of the bridge: 1466 Camp Paradise Road; Rice, Virginia. Use 1681 Aspen Hill Road in Rice to get to the entrance of Camp Paradise Road then travel 1.5 miles to the parking area.
