Le Corbusier's Five Points of Architecture

  1. Pilotis - Elevating the building to extend landscape beneath the space.
  2. A functional roof serving as a garden and terrace, reclaiming for Nature the land occupied by the building
  3. An open floor plan, without load-bearing walls, only to be place where aesthetically needed
  4. Long horizontal windows for natural light and ventilation
  5. Facades designed as a surface for windows
