1715/00/00 Mawson terrace of five houses are built c 1715 for the founder of Fuller's Brewery, Thomas Mawson.
1716/00/00 Alexander Pope Home While living at No 110 Mawson's Row from 1716 to 1719, Alexander Pope translates and publishes the "Iliad" and publishes his first collected works. The garden house (qv) may have been design for him.
1897/00/00 No 110 is converted into a public house known as the "Fox and Hounds" and also the "Mawson Arms" c 1897.
