1925/07/00 After having raised a million francs in a month due to his personal fortune and his appeal for donations, Father Keller buys the Saint-Yves plateau and establishes the Cite du Souvenir, a low income housing complex.
1925/08/00 Designed by the architects F Besnard and D Boulenger, the Saint-Yves Chapel is built in the center of the City of Remembrance as a memorial to the victims of the First World War.
1932/00/00 Between 1931 and 1932, George Desvallieres creates frescoes in the choir. The main subject is Ascension of Jesus framed by the saints. Desvallieres' son, who died at the front at the age of 17, is represented, wrapped in the French flag.
